Founded in the year 1959 by Rasool Al-Jishi, the first pharmacist in Bahrain, Al-Jishi Pharmacy was established with the goal of bridging the pharmaceutical gap between Bahrain and the Western world.

Shortly after and at the age of 16, he was joined by his brother, Fouad Al-Jishi, to help in the overall operations of the pharmacy.

What started as a small import operation out of the old Souq in Manama blossomed into Al-Jishi Corporation, becoming one of the largest suppliers of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies in Bahrain.

Expanded our retail operation by opening in one of the largest malls in Bahrain.
